Autumn colour

It was meant to be an early start today and I left home on time but as I had forgotten my tripod there was a trip back to pick this up. Nevertheless we arrived at Stourhead not that long after they had opened.  The light was looking good as we headed to the main gardens.  I was with a friend from the camera club so we had as much time as we liked to take photos.  We had a great time exploring the picturesque gardens and watching the sun light up various scenes although we did experience a couple of heavy downpours.
