Threat of rain...

Rain was threatened all day and in the morning we did have a few showers while I was out with one of my photography groups. It meant we had a slightly early coffee break.

This afternoon was better weather for 20 of us on Dave’s 10 Quarry Walk. Quarrying was a massive industry in the 19th century because so called Guernsey Granite (actually Diorite) was much sought after...
Many of these quarries now store out water supply.
