Root

This is the root of a walnut ptanted by a squirrel last autumn in our front flower garden. There is 2 big walnut trees in adjoining gardens and the squirrels are busy hiding them so each year around this time we find them and if we overlook them by the next year they are dry hard to dig up.
Went to the garden centre first to get some bird food then bit more in the garden, the borders are just about done now.
Had a walk around the village this afternoon. Cooler now but still sunny.
Deb had a new stone fire surround fitted today it looks a treat.
