Layers of Green

It's hot, humid and horrible outside today, and even the cabbage whites are having trouble flittering around. This one is having a snooze with its eyes wide open, and can't even drum up the energy to get away from the big black thing that keeps following it around.

Not much else to say really, this kind of weather really saps the energy. I have noticed in late years that we are getting more and more humid weather. When we first came here in the mid-60s, sure the summers were hot - extremely hot sometimes, but it was a clean dry heat, and so much easier to take than this sort of mugginess.
