Coleus

So my new phone's camera is pretty terrible. Not a huge shock there, really.

This is Coleus. On Sunday, a large swath of cuttings were ripped from their soil plugs when an overhead watering system's hose fell off, caught a tray and dragged it down 20 tables. We re-planted them and most did well enough.

Now, I had Monday and Tuesday off, so this is what they tell me: another hose popped off and dragged across more cuttings (though didn't catch a tray and did much less damage). Still, not good. And maintenance has the nerve to bitch and moan when we ask them to fix something.

It rained all day today. I mean poured. The sun came out for my drive home and it was warm enough to cruise with the windows rolled down while dodging flooded parts of the roads.
