Half-Truism

Evening all,

In the Richardson household, the sight of bright red berries nestling with an abundance amongst the lush green holly leaves does not mean it will be a hard winter.

Nor does it mean that we will be happy that the birds will have a plentiful supply of food for the winter.

Nor does it offer a sign that winter is on the way and a new season is nearly upon us...

nope, in our house it means we will be soon out gathering holly to make a lovely wreath for our door, and decorations over the fireplace,

which for one of us (ME) tends to mean lugging a plasic bin bag around a two mile walk, lots of pricked fingers and thumbs and a general grumbling and secret wish that we could settle for plastic, just once..... please!

(obviously i'm only joking....love it really darling,no honest i do, watch where you're waving that holly.................)
