The End of a Lovely Day

I like Thursdays. We go to our singing group in the morning, have lunch in our favourite cafe, and then I go to my patchwork projects class. 

After that we usually head for home, but this week we are staying in Edinburgh for a couple of nights.  So as evening fell, we went down to Portobello for a walk along the promenade and a drink by the shore in the last of the light.
