Seaweed and Sand (Day 1268)
The wind eased from bloody horrible to bearable and almost pleasant overnight. The rain finally petered out, but the ground has been left saturated and the morning wander up the hill was squelchy to say the least.
Back at home the customer who desperately wanted me to visit them this morning wasn't answering my phone calls, so I resorted to a bit of paperwork and stuff round the house whilst my beautiful wife went off hossing.
Later on we had a reasonable amble along the beach at Aikerness where water running across the sand has left some nice patterns amongst the scattered seaweed. I snapped a couple of shots with the mobile phone.
HV and I finished the day off with a mission across the barriers to Burray.
