Drains

I was delighted to see the storm drain clearing lorry arrive this morning,  they stayed for a number of hours shuffling between the two storm galleys opposite my house; these have been causing a lot flooding issues.  I was so annoyed last week that I rattled a few cages on Social media and the county council and we have now had some immediate action as witnessed today and with a promise of work raising our kerbs and investigating the drainage pipes under the road more thoroughly in the Spring when more money will set aside for this work.  We will see if that promise is kept!
