After The Rain

Although it rained during the night, the sun burned through the morning fog and we had another lovely Fall day. Unfortunately, there were only three of us at Cornwall Park for pickleball -- the others evidently preferring the cramped confines of the Y.

I went to the butcher in Lynden later to pick up cut and wrapped meat from a small lamb given to us by a friend. Cynthia was worried that it wouldn't fit in the freezer section of our fridges, but there wasn't a problem.

I'm on my own for a week -- might have to grill a few lamb burgers or chops. C doesn't eat much meat these days -- all the more for me!
