Artist at work

I had seen this chap around the town over the last few days and assumed he was a landscape painter who just happened to draw a crowd.

On further investigation it turns out that he is Dennis Sheehan, a hugely talented and well-known American artist. I'm not sure that this image does him justice as it was so hard to get a clear shot because of the group of students who were constantly surrounding him.

I hope to see him again before he leaves as I would love to try for a better shot. I had an image in mind which I almost got but not quite.
