Special things for special people

I was up early to go to London. When I got to the station there were trains cancelled and delayed due to a train strike. There were also signalling outside Waterloo. But a train did eventually arrive. Although it was going to take a while to get to London as it was a stopping service, we all piled on. When we got to the next major station we were advised that they were terminating the train.

We then all stood around looking at the departure boards. The next train was delayed by 20 minutes and then it would be further delayed getting through the signalling problem.

So I headed home instead arriving 1.5 hours after I had left.

It was a disturbing start to the day and it meant that I couldn’t get the planned London blip.

HtP has been round to walk the dogs and stayed for dinner.

I’m now sitting knitting. I’m making lots of things for people for Christmas.
