Derwent Isle & Cat bells.

We decided to have a run out to Keswick and the Derwentwater area.  The first stop was the Lingholm Kitchen, Kanyl had spotted a Liquidambar when we were there for the blip meet.  Having seen one if autumn colour at Hayes the other week we thought we would see the colour at Lingholm.  Wrong!  It was still green apart from 2 yellow leaves.

From there we headed into Keswick for lunch at the Wainright.  Then we went down to thew Lake looking for blips.  Kanyl isn't up to walking far so we didn't stray beyond the field.  The shore line was swarming with a school party so I settled for a shot over their heads of Blencathra with Derwent Isle in the foreground.

We rounded off the afternoon with coffee in the Theatre by the Lake café before heading back to Penrith to drop Kanyl back home.
