Hunter's Moon

Such a big, bright full moon up there that I had to get a photo although I can never do it justice as one moon shot looks like another when there's nothing to give it scale (and you don’t have the photographic skills!). I had to take it leaning out of Son2's bedroom window as it's still quite low in the sky and hiding behind our conifers. Well worth looking outside at though if you have clear skies. The Hunter's Moon is the first full moon after the Harvest Moon, which was a month ago and was itself the closest full moon to the autumn equinox.
