St Bravo’s Haarlem

Visiting Haarlem today, the church is in the square, St Bavos church dates back to 653 the Death of Saint Bavo patron of the church, the church was damaged in town fires 1347 1351, the construction of the present church was from 1370 to 1538 Haarlem was a busy port, lovley old buildings, and cobbled streets, there is a windmill down by the port lots to see there is a Museum with a few old artifacts, not many found as the water flooded the sand banks where people lived they moved further in. The Museum was on the underground room of an old meat market where the meat was stored, , We leave tomorrow, leaving behind so much more to see we will have to come back again.
