The Skull & The Rose, Soho, London

Today's two images represent the two sides of Soho - the old (today's extra shot " Tipple Nassles, Soho") and the new (the main photo - which is a display and hoarding outside an offshoot of The Ivy, a very posh and expensive restaurant). Soho used to be associated with loucheness and sleaze but nearly all of that side of Soho is disappearing, whether for good or ill. Soho has defiinitely lost some of it's edge but also some of it's nasty, dark presence as well.
