Changing Earnscleugh

There are thousands and thousands and thousands of new apple trees planted in Earnscleugh, between Clyde and Alexandra - maybe 60 thousand and still more to be planted. The trees need irrigation, rabbit protection and staked - a huge task. It looks as if not one tree has dared to die - and if you look closely these very young trees are blossoming.

The whole area has been changed. Unbelievable each time you go down that way.
