Today was both warmer and much more beautiful than the online forecast pretended, though I didn't have a lot of time to take advantage of it :((  However, here is a funny little wildflower, looking so fresh and pretty.  I found that, intriguingly, it is called wild basil.  It doesn't look much like the basil pot on my kitchen window sill but I guess it must be a relative.  Unfortunately, not knowing its name when I blipped it, I didn't pinch a leaf to find out.

Thanks, as always, to Cailleach for hosting WildWed - and thank you all for your advice yesterday, much appreciated.  You made me take a deep breath and that's really good.  I will now be able to get down to competitions prep with less hand-flapping.

What else?  Saw OG this afternoon and rang various organisations for him, which he finds hard, being totally blind and without the ability to either take down numbers or see them.  Now that's a real struggle, not like my whiffling..
