Lac Bleu in the Valais

A pilgrimage every year to Arolla and this time to the Cabane des Aiguilles Rouges with 2 friends. What a day, Fabulous light and company so much so I have put some more photos on Flickr. (https://www.flickr.com/photos/hilarysview/?) The descent from the Cabane to Lac Bleu was so steep, my legs might not work tomorrow! Of course the larch theme continues in the high mountains, it is so brilliant to see these forests of golden trees which will soon lose their needles, carpeting the forest floor. Extra is of La Pigne d'Arolla.

In the the little mayen (a basic, converted, shepherd's hut) where we are staying, there is no internet of course, so this will be backblipped tomorrow. A little walk will happen but certainly not another long one!
