Scammonden Reservoir

It was so much easier to start the journey home knowing that I am still on holiday for the rest of the week! 

I stopped off at Scammonden Reservoir for a quick blip. The wind was so strong I could hardly stand upright myself, let alone hold the camera steady. The water was very low, compare it with this one.

It was a lovely drive across Saddleworth Moor, the light was stunning. I also stopped at Bents Garden Centre on the way back for a wander round the shops. 

Back home now for a few days. I have some tasks to do and monsters to slay (monsters are the jobs that need doing that mentally grow out of proportion when not done.)  I did a big shop this afternoon in preparation for restocking my freezer, then managed my first swim for a long while.
