We had a lovely walk across to Lihou Island today which can only be accessed on a very low tide. It was safe to cross from 11.40am to 13.55pm after that the causeway covers over with the sea which actually runs very fast and is dangerous. There is one house on the island which is used by parties of people, clubs and schools. It’s totally cut off at high tide! We walked all the way around the island then sat in the campervan for a picnic whilst watching the tide come in. I love this blip of our son and grandchildren on the top of quite a high rock. Just to prove that I have been with them these past few days Nic took a photo of me negotiating slippery seaweed. Good job he had run back to the camper for my walking poles!
