Oh Doctor I’m in Trouble . . .

A visit from the Printhead Hospital was called for with the black causing a problem in our Epson WF-7610 printer.  The black has been leaving a trail for some time, and there has been one permanent gap in black in the test print for even longer. I can’t help but think the two are related.  The printer did have a long period without use early in the year and although everything else cleaned up with the inbuilt ‘head cleaning’ routine the gap in the black remains.
 
At the time of uploading we are on our second operation – slight improvement with the first go but a jet is still blocked.  May even need a third go over night, but don’t watch this space . . .
 
I think my participation in today’s TinyTuesday challenge may be limited, not even a decent macro myself.  Nevertheless a big thank you to  WWombat for hosting.
