Halloween is coming!

I met up with pal Gill in Glasgow today for a tapas lunch in Barça. Having recovered from foot surgery at the beginning of summer, Gill was keen to buy some new shoes for her 'new' foot and she was pleased to find some bargains in Hotter.

It was while we were in Buchanan Galleries that I noticed this Halloween display and I thought it would make a colourful blip. Difficult though it was, I managed to bag one without any children in front of the pumpkin, but if you look closely you can see a little face peeking out of the nose.

Call me a grumpy old woman, but I've never liked Halloween! All those ghosts and skeletons and witches and cobwebs - what a nightmare for young kiddies! And of course it's all so commercialised nowadays! Bah humbug!

Back into Glasgow for choir tonight...
