The Cousin

In 1988 'The Cousin' wrote to Blue Peter explaining that her uncle (Hubby's dad) was a Blue Peter fan and would really like to have a Blue Peter badge. She got a letter back from Biddy Baxter to say that unfortunately her uncle was a little too old to be awarded a Blue Peter badge however she had enclosed a cloth badge that he could sew onto his anorak and a signed photo from Caron Keating, one of the presenters.

Hubby's dad was chuffed to bits with this and got the letter and photo framed and attached the badge to his bowling hat.

We thought that 'The Cousin' would maybe like to keep the letter and badge so we arranged to meet her for lunch and a catch up and to hand over the aforementioned items.
