Poor Knights Lily

Our Poor Knights lily plant is rapidly coming into flower.  The buds are developing fast in the warm weather we are having.  We have had the plant for many years, but it only began flowering about 3 years ago.  Silvereyes regularly feed on it.
Xeronema callistemon is endemic to New Zealand, growing naturally on only two islands.  It is commonly cultivated, however.
