What a day of bad news.  A friend told of an hour long meeting with her GP who gave her a terminal diagnosis, then I heard of an acquaintance who died very suddenly leaving his church and community in shock.  The young niece of another friend was attacked and raped leaving her severely traumatised but her assailant cannot be charged as he has diplomatic immunity.  Then I learnt that my father was readmitted into hospital after one night in his new nursing home.
