Shroom

I think this is a Parasol mushroom and, if so, their flavour apparently resembles roast beef and walnuts.

Just put the new series of Only Connect on to find someone I know in one of the teams! And they won, which is all the more galling for Mr DA whose team failed to get as far as the auditions last year :D

In other news, I didn’t make it to see the deer today (hence the fungi) but did get my Conclusion finished.
