GWRrrrrrrrr.

I had enjoyed the day. It had been sunny and bright and I had taken a walk along the towpath beside the river during my lunch break because the ground was too wet to sit on. Round a corner I found a disembowelled item of luggage along with folded shirts and paired socks strewn about the place. They appeared to have been there for some while, spots of mildew were evident. I felt sorry for the owner, perhaps still awaiting a call from baggage handling to be told the luggage item had finally been found, and least expecting that a goblin of some sort had made off with it only to be disappointed by its contents.

No matter, I had planned some exciting creativity for the evening. Sadly that came to nought at the first hurdle when it transpired that the fabric I had set my little heart on was five times the price it could have been.

Ho hum. Back home to book tickets for this coming weekend's jaunt. I had had to gird my loins for this because booking the tickets had been tricky on Sunday night and still not a breeze this morning, but I had a whole evening to take it nice and easy, or so I thought.

It is not possible to purchase a railway ticket from GWR. I became frustrated, angry and quite sweary very quickly indeed, and finally had to hand over the task to a responsible adult. They have received my feedback but I doubt they can read.

This was a plant enjoying the sunshine on the towpath at lunchtime and I had already selected it as my blip before finding another very similar shot here.
