Artivism for Children
Back home in Portland, I had three events on Sunday. A going-away party for Eske, who single-handedly convinced me to write the memoir-in-progress; an art-for-activism activity for children (from which this blip comes); and a meditation group with a discussion of some ideas about death from Pema Chodron.
Also a migraine. I was grateful it waited till I got home.
The artivism event was about parents wanting a get-together for children who attend marches, rallies, and other events for progressive people in Portland. It was sponsored by Red Yarn, a kids entertainment group with puppets and performers.
