Lest We Forget

So, after dropping Ruby off at 7am for her bus to work, I headed home and did some work before heading out on the bike. Given the falling thing then the virus thing I’m way off the pace this year but bashed out 42 miles in fairly decent time.

Stopped for a blip at Aberlady Church. They always do a creative masterpiece ahead of November 11th but this year they’re really outdoing themselves. It’s a remembrance garden by the side of the church starting to fill with hand made poppies. A fine place to stop for a rest and a ponder.

Back home to find Eve and Zara had baked cookies - result! And they were carving pumpkins which is a bit early, looked great though.

More work and then salmon pesto pasta for most of us, sausage pasta for Joe.

Mrs S is a writer in demand so I’m reading some of her pitch stuff tonight.
