Day five...

... in the DIY house!

Got quite a bit done today - most imortantly finally sorting out the ceiling. Moral of the story? Don't use Artex that has been lying around for three years!

Did a bit more painting and then layed most of the new shiny floor, which I have to say looks very good. Had to take a door off as it catches on the floor, will have to dig out a plane (if that's the right one?)

More floor tomorrow and possibly a bit more painting for a change - still it beats sanding!
