Left behind...

...because I've stopped to take photos once again. John and I loaded the bicycles to the truck and drove to Vernonia, to enjoy the beautiful autumn scenery and warm weather, and get some exercise. We could ride the bikes all the way there on the old "logging road", but it's uphill most of the 27 miles, and we don't have that kind of stamina. It was a perfect afternoon, so pretty with all the autumn colors. Dinner and pumpkin carving at our daughter's house to end the day.
