Squinting in the sunlight

Since everything that normally happens today was cancelled at the last minute due to the weather (waterlogged, wet and windy), we suddenly all found ourselves with a free day.

What better than a family dog walk?

The response from the children was lukewarm to say the least, but having got the youngest on my side with promises of chocolate it was then just a matter of getting the eldest two out of bed....

They came - one of them VERY reluctantly - but everyone was smiling in the end.

I had to blip this photo as who knows when another "cancelled" Sunday will come along, and I'll get a repeat opportunity!
