It was foggy all morning but later in the afternoon, the sun burnt it all off and we had a perfectly clear sky. Some of the trees in the neighborhood are at their peak.

Made the chocolate mocha cake for my son today. I did not take any photos because it did not look very neat and tidy. My husband said it looked like a cake Dr. Seuss might have made... all tilted to one side and not uniform. But, it tasted pretty darn good.

We took him to dinner at a sushi place in West Seattle that had good reviews on yelp. My sister and BIL met us there. The food was just ok and way over-priced. I would only give it 3 stars. 

Kind of tired today because Salem was up half-dozen times last night throwing up. I don't know what it was, maybe she found something to munch on when I wasn't looking. In addition to letting her outside, I cleaned up lots of stuff off the floor and carpet. Ugh. She is better today - it cleared her system. I don't think this has anything to do with her cancer, just something she ate that really upset her tummy.

Hoping to get son to go to the gym with me tomorrow...
