Flowers or leaves?

This plant has stood in our hallway for some time, but has never had red leaves grow before. I am pleased to see them, and they're just the right colour for this time of year.
We've had a busy day with family, and I'm off to the Sage, Gateshead, to hear my husband sing tonight, so it had to be an indoor blip today.
