Lake Pukaki and Aoraki/Mt Cook

Australasia's highest mountain is only a 90 minute drive from my house.

I had planned that today I would blip Lake Teakpo, but the view of Mount Cook across the lake was just stunning, so in the end I've opted for this.

I've blipped it a number of times in the past (same as the repeated photos of yesterday's tree) but it is always a stunning sight when the peak is cloud free.  Today the reflections as clear as they sometimes are, due to as slight breeze ruffling the surface.
