Siblings

Apologies for another family picture, but it is always a pleasure for me to see these three together and enjoying each other's company. We were saying our farewells to Tim in the parking lot of VJB Winery where we went for lunch. Matt and Tim were attempting a proper  'bro hug' and Dana was criticizing it for not being very enthusiastic, so they invited her to join them. By the time I moved them into the sun, the spontaneity of the moment was lost and they were squinting into the sun and complaining about it...all except Tim whose eyes were completely shaded, and hidden, by his new baseball cap. Still, it has a nice feeling about it and warms a mother's heart....

Problems with the light persisted as attempts were made to take a picture of Claire with Blake and Ozzie. Black dogs are notoriously hard to photograph, but I have put the best of the lot of Claire with the dogs in extras. Blake, typically, is a blur of motion, but Ozzie, who seems to be getting a bit demented in his old age and sits barking for reasons known only to him, is happy with the attention. Claire loves animals and didn't even mind going home with her own coating of dog hair. 

It will be awfully quiet here without them...
