And it all went swimmingly and the rain held off. So, I’m now safely in the yard and can start making a list of things to be done. Which, come April will be the list of things I wish I had done.
Afterwards I had to go and meet the chums after Hearts latest victory - top of the league since day one, and it’s now late October and we’re still there. As Willy Barr did say, it’s like seeing an elephant up a tree - no one has an effing clue how it got there but they sure as hell know it’s not going to stay up. I fear this is indeed the case as I hear that Peter Haring is our latest long term injury. That’s my excuses in early for next weekend’s cup semi.
