Limoges, a.m.

Early morning stroll around Limoges with the dog walkers. Cathedral and botanic gardens.

Long drive on the straightest roads in France, then lunch with the flies (odd as it sounds) in Fontevraud. Post lunch wander through the abbey, mainly to see some Plantagenet history.

Then an afternoon’s driving best expunged from the family scrapbook, and a search for an evening meal that I fear I cannot expunge from my gut (yes, we ended up in MacDo again).
