Elvister

Gales have been blowing all day, along with showers in the morning.  A brighter and sunnier afternoon, and more showers tonight. 

A fine lazy Sunday morning, the showers weren't much inspiration to do anything.  Once the skies cleared, I met up with Julie and Keba, and headed around Scalloway for a walk.  Me and Sammy headed out west for a run in the car in the afternoon.  Mam and dad popped by for a cuppa this evening, and we also managed another walk.  Feet up by the fire tonight.

A fine run out west with Sammy, and stopped off for a walk too.  As we came by this old croft house, I was saddened to see the state it's falling into.  My friend Celia grew up here, and must be a real shame for her to see it go this way.  With all these gales, I won't be surprised to see the roof gone this coming winter.  Taken at Elvister, Waas.
