Edgar has AS exams in January so we spent the morning negotiating his revision timetable over the Christmas period....he drove a hard bargain but I think we can both live with the settlement. Then I drove him and George into Lancaster as they wanted the extended version of Lord of the Rings ( should keep them quiet for a while :) . On the way over Harris end I stopped to shoot the low sun bringing the hill to life . Edgar said that it reminded him of the book sleeve from Of Mice and Men and I take his point.
