Final Resting Place

After the usual Sunday service and tea and biscuits we had a family gathering with the minister in the corner of the church graveyard to scatter the ashes of the mother-in-law along with those of her husband, although some of the ashes have been held back so that they can be planted together under a commemorative fruit tree in the spring (other shots from around the church can be found at the link).


It was then back to the youngest sister's house for a bite to eat, a glass of wine and a natter.

I might have another we drink this evening.
