Cloud formations

A strong easterly wind brought colder temperatures this morning and stripped the trees of their golden leaves. It also brought some magical clouds and by evening beautiful clear skies, so clear that we could pick out the cairn on the top of the mountain across the valley!
The foot is swollen after yesterday so I made sure I looked after it. An easy day, a short stroll by the river and plenty of organisation at home before returning to work tomorrow.
