Just hanging out

This was the last day of our holidays.

Our flight was in the evening and we had to check out of the room at 11am, but we were allowed to use the facilities and have lunch at no charge.

We spent the day revisiting our favourite haunts: the kids gym, table football, several bikes, several parks, several stony beaches. After lunch we had a final swim with a family CyclopsJnr had befriended.

Our flight was a late one, 9pm, but all went to plan. We were back in our house in Edinburgh at midnight. Although CyclopsJnr didn't sleep on the journey he was no trouble.

We are declaring the holiday a success. We enjoyed the Rovinj area of Croatia with its pine trees and pebble beaches and Venetian influence. The weather was either sunny or overcast but always above 20 degrees so great for us. The hotel (Family Hotel Amarin) was spacious and new and clean and they had thought of everything to make a holiday with little kids that bit easier.
