If You Could Read my Mind..
Last night's beer binge was a spur of the moment kind of thing.
I'm fed up of weekends runny away from us - make the most of every moment - so I text himself and said "Brewdog? "
"And eating" he replied. and yes we did.
We headed up on a very busy train - must have been a lot of works night outs on Friday - and we occupied talking to Boy. I think he was using us as a "keep awake" tool as he drove back to Wilmington from Washington.
we had a table reserved but got a seat at the bar while we waited - it was very busy. I asked a server about kicking folk off our table "pre" out book booked time but she amazingly took another table, cleaned it up and sat us down there and then ! Brewdog have the most amazing staff
we ate cluck norris burgers (chicken, cajun sauce, avocado and red onions in a brioche), cajun corn and crack fries. We weren't sure what the crack fries were but it turns out they were the worst thing ever!!! fries, fried in beer batter. Oh My God. One portion between the two of us almost killed us.
well that and the beer. They were also having a Colabafest.... The master brewer from each of the Brewdog shops, tied in with a local brewer in their neighbourgood and created a new beer. So we had to test some, of course.
And we got home - and bumped into my Nephew en route. he is such a sweety.
Then we got home and slept
But we got up sharp the next day and headed up to the allotment - lots to do. I weeded and chopped things down. . I was very busy. very very busy and I sat down and stood up so many times, my knees nearly broke.
As you can see it's still producing. The gift that keeps giving.
Then we came home, and I did some preventative wood painting.
All in all exhausting. Just exhausting.
