Mists, a Roman town and a Dead Sea scroll

One minute you can be in the hot, dry Jordanian desert and the next back to the season of mists and mellow fruitfulness. What an exciting time to be alive!

The three extras are from our Jordanian adventure.

The first one is from the Roman town of Gerasa (now Jaresh) and shows the Oval Plaza  and leading away from it into the distance is the 800m long colonnaded street known as the Cardo.

The other two are from the Archaeological museum in Amman. The first is an enigmatic 2-headed statue. Dating from 7,500 BC it is one of the world's oldest human statues. The other is one of the Dead Sea scrolls.
