Mist through the trees, St John's

Large on black please!

Woke to heavy mist/fog. After breakfast I suggested a day in the south Lakes. We headed off down the A591, ignoring the mist over Derwentwater (with difficulty) and were rewarded with three wonderful stops down the A591, the first for this, the second near high rigg and the third at the south end of Thirlmere.

Slaters Bridge in the afternoon was also fab, but the misty start was really special.
