Piano Lessons

He is still not begging to get to piano lessons early, but at least there is little fuss when we do go. I hope I am doing the right thing, sticking to my mandate to keep the kids learning piano until they are too old for me to boss around anymore.

I have explained it often. My conviction that they will thank me later in life for pushing them to learn this talent. I have read so much about how their brain benefits from this, that their math skills will get a boost from this, and if all else fails, at least they can earn some pocket money playing at parties or teaching other kids how to play.

For now I hear the "Mom won't let me quit" blues.
