Fall Rose

I wish I could add scent to this photo. This beautiful rose came with the house. So did an amazing blueberry bush. The rose has that rich old fashioned fragrance that comes with vintage roses. I love it.

Today Shelly and I spent the morning and afternoon together. Now he’s home packing for his trip east to visit his daughter and family. They are all at home as of today. Shel leaves tomorrow evening. I’m busy most of the day so we’ll say our farewells just before he takes off. I’ll miss him but I’m glad he’s going to be with them and the new baby.
