Matisse masterclass

Well, that is a grand exaggeration as there was nothing masterful about it! Leo asked me to join in with his homework and we attempted to recreate The Green Stripe as he is studying the Fauves at school.

He knows that my art skills are second only to my orientation skills when it comes to sheer incompetence so I think he wanted a laugh.

I do think Madame Matisse has a bit of a look of Gareth Bale about her?!

Moving on from Fauvism to Footie, it was another good day for Cully Rangers, with a 4-2 win over the Tivvy neighbours Moors FC - coming back from 2-0 thanks to their usual slow start. And it was gloriously sunny for us touchline spectators - what a treat!
